A Few Local Tips...

Village vs. Resort: Waikoloa Village and Waikoloa Beach Resort are two different areas. The village sits above the Kohala Coast, about a 15 to 20-minute drive from the resort shopping centers and beaches.

Village Amenities: Guests staying at Honua Living have access to certain Waikoloa Village recreational amenities with the provided amenity card. Check your welcome information for details and reservation requirements.

Weather: Waikoloa is known for warm sunshine and breezy afternoons. It can also be noticeably cooler in the village than down at the beach.

Shopping & Essentials: You'll find groceries, coffee shops, restaurants, and everyday essentials right here in the village. Larger shopping centers and resort dining are a short drive down the hill.

Enjoy Our Neighborhood: Waikoloa Village is home to many local families and full-time residents. We appreciate your kōkua in keeping the neighborhood peaceful, respecting quiet hours, and driving with care.

Enjoy Our Little Corner of Hawaiʻi

We love the slower pace of life here in Waikoloa and hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Take time to explore, support our local businesses, and soak up the beauty of the Kohala Coast.
